What you'll learn
MODULE 0 – PREWORK: IT AND CLOUD FOUNDATIONS
Before live sessions begin, you’ll build a strong foundation in IT and cloud fundamentals. You’ll master Linux navigation, user and permission management, and essential networking concepts like IP addressing and DNS. You’ll also explore virtualization, containers, and Git workflows while connecting securely to remote servers. This self-paced phase gives you the technical confidence to start deploying and managing resources in the cloud from day one.
MODULE 1 – CLOUD FOUNDATIONS & CORE SERVICES
You’ll dive into the essential building blocks of the cloud. You’ll solidify your Linux and networking skills while learning how to deploy and manage workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Through hands-on labs, you’ll set up IAM permissions, provision storage, and launch your first secure applications. By the end, you’ll understand the shared responsibility model, pricing structures, and security best practices that underpin professional cloud engineering.
you’ll design the networking backbone of modern cloud systems. You’ll create secure VPCs or VNets, configure subnets, route tables, and NAT gateways, and implement DNS and load balancers for reliable performance. You’ll explore hybrid connectivity between on-premise and cloud systems, then apply it all by deploying a production-style three-tier application. By week’s end, you’ll know how to architect and secure scalable single-cloud environments with confidence.
MODULE 3 – INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE & AUTOMATION
Module 3 marks your shift from manual setup to automation. You’ll learn Terraform to build, version, and manage infrastructure as reusable code, applying best practices for modules and state management. Then, you’ll integrate this work into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Helm, adopting a true DevOps mindset. You’ll also explore AI-assisted workflows with tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to accelerate troubleshooting and development.
MODULE 4 – OBSERVABILITY & FINOPS
You’ll learn to operate and optimize complex cloud environments. You’ll instrument applications with OpenTelemetry, analyze system health in Prometheus and Grafana, and set up intelligent alerts to ensure reliability. Then you’ll transition into FinOps using dashboards, tagging, and cost models to manage and reduce cloud spending. By the end, you’ll know how to balance performance, cost, and visibility like a professional cloud engineer.
In the final module, you’ll secure, govern, and showcase everything you’ve built. You’ll apply CIS, NIST, and ISO frameworks, manage secrets with Vault and Keycloak, and address real-world compliance needs like GDPR and SOC 2. Finally, you’ll complete a team-based Capstone Project: designing a fully automated, multi-cloud platform with Terraform, CI/CD, observability, and FinOps principles. You’ll graduate with a portfolio-ready project that demonstrates your ability to deliver secure, scalable, production-grade solutions.
