What are the requisites to become a student at Ironhack?
There are no knowledge requirements for our bootcamps. As long as you have sufficient proficiency in English, basic logical skills, enough time, and most importantly motivation, you're fit for a bootcamp. Each bootcamp has students from different backgrounds so if you're starting from scratch with your tech knowledge, you're not alone. The Prework ensures that everyone has the same solid foundation to succeed in the bootcamp.
Do I need my own laptop?
Data Science & Machine Learning Bootcamp: Needs include a multi-core processor (Intel i5 or higher, AMD Ryzen 5 or higher), at least 8GB RAM (16GB preferred), SSD storage, and a NVIDIA GPU (CUDA 7.0 higher recommended).
Data Analytics Bootcamp: General requirements are a modern processor, at least 8GB RAM, and an SSD.
Data Science & AI 1 Year Course: Includes a free laptop to ensure every participant has access to the necessary technology right from the start.
Will I get an official certificate after completion of the program?
Ironhack awards a private certificate upon completion. While the intensive, hands-on nature of our bootcamps means they are not recognized by traditional educational standards, they are highly respected by industry leaders for the quality of education and the preparedness of our graduates.
What financing options are available for the bootcamp?
Various options are provided to fund your education, including payment plans, scholarships, and external financing collaborations. If you are a German resident and currently unemployed, you might be eligible to apply for a Bildungsgutschein, which can cover the costs of your training. We encourage discussing this opportunity with your admissions officer to understand all available options and tailor the financial solution that best fits your needs.
