Learn Artificial Intelligence Engineering with Our Proven Methodology

Comprehensive, hands-on training

Develop your AI Engineer/Developer mindset by picking up the in-demand skills and tools used by AI professionals every day.

Built for beginners

Learn AI from scratch in a supportive environment, and collaborate with your fellow Ironhackers on projects that aim to solve real-life problems. You don't need any previous experience. That's what the prework is for, ensuring that all students have the same foundational knowledge regardless of their background.

A portfolio to impress

Whether it's building new applications or improving processes and user experiences, show off your new skills to prospective employers and stand out from the crowd.

What you'll learn:

Get bootcamp-ready and hit the ground running with essential training in basic AI and Machine Learning concepts, including Python fundamentals and AI Ethics. You'll develop your general AI culture and mindset with fundamental knowledge on AI and how to think critically about its use cases.

No matter your previous tech knowledge (or lack thereof), this introductory module will make sure every Ironhacker is set up for success. Start prepping as soon as four weeks before the bootcamp.

Python and AI Engineering Essentials

This module kicks off the AI Engineering course with a focus on Python programming, diving into core programming concepts, object-oriented principles, and the best practices of software engineering. Students will explore essential AI and machine learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch and acquire key data handling skills through SQL for effective data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.

NLP, Machine Learning, and Prompting Foundations

This module delves into Natural Language Processing (NLP), offering foundational insights into text analysis and machine learning basics, including the strategic use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt design. It equips students with advanced prompt engineering techniques so you can get exactly the answers or content you want from AI tools like ChatGPT. You'll also explore augmenting LLMs with external information sources for enhanced AI interactions, setting a robust groundwork for sophisticated AI application development. It's all about making AI work smarter for you.

Advanced Chatbot Development and Open-source LLM Integration

The final module dives into advanced chatbot design and development, covering conversational AI features that show you how to make AI understand emotions in text and addressing challenges with Large Language Models (LLMs). It further explores the open-source LLM ecosystem, teaching you which model to choose to make sure it fits what you need and how to deploy it. Besides the technical skills, this module boosts your ability to communicate, think critically, and work well in teams, all super important for rocking it in the AI world.

Disclaimer: Course topics are subject to change according to the demands of the job market. We aim to design our curriculum to meet the required skills for junior positions in the tech market. Students who do not complete the activities and final project do not earn a certificate.

Ironhackers now work in:

Our graduates are soon hired in entry-level tech roles by large established companies and startups all over the world. We make sure our alumni learn the most in-demand skills for their niche, future-proofing their prospects by learning only what companies are really looking for.

You too could be making waves as the next big name AI Engineer or Prompt Engineer!

Why Learn AI Engineering: Future-Proof Your Skillset

When choosing your path into the tech industry, you want to know that the skills you're learning are actually in demand. And the numbers don't lie; AI is on the rise! According to LinkedIn's AI Skills Index data, "the skills required for many jobs have changed by a staggering 25% since 2015, with that number expected to reach at least 65% by 2030 due to the rapid development of new technologies like AI."

Tech professionals around the world are growing their skillsets to meet the new need. According to LinkedIn, only 3 in every 1000 members could be considered AI professionals in 2016. In 2022, that number increased to 17 in every 1000. By joining their ranks you're setting yourself up for a bright future in an ever-growing field.

How does the admissions process work?

1. Fill out our easy non-committal Application Form.

2. Receive a call from Admissions, to find out if your motivations, long term goals, availability, and determination are a good fit for the bootcamp. It's also a chance for you to get your burning questions answered!

3. Take a technical test in English to test your basic logic skills. This will also give you a basic understanding of the concepts you'll learn in your chosen track. No need to prepare—just make sure you have enough time to take the test uninterrupted. Once you have passed this test, our Admissions team will be in touch with you.

4. Choose how to fund your bootcamp from our selection of Financing Options and flexible payment plans. Consult your Admissions advisor if you're not sure which one is right for you.

5. Pay your deposit before the bootcamp starts to confirm your place.

Do I need my own laptop?

Every Ironhacker needs their own computer, but you don't need the latest iMac to get the job done!

For our AI Bootcamp, you'll need:

-Processor: A modern multi-core CPU (e.g., Intel i5 or higher, AMD Ryzen 5 or higher).

-RAM: At least 8GB (16GB or more is preferable for larger machine learning projects).

-Storage: A solid-state drive (SSD) with adequate storage. We recommend a minimum of 50GB but 256GB for faster data access.

-GPU (optional but recommended): A dedicated NVIDIA GPU (e.g., GTX 1060 or higher) for deep learning tasks.

Note: If you're using a device that doesn't belong to you (e.g., a company computer), you'll need to be granted full admin rights.

Will I get an official certificate after completion of the program?

Ironhack provides a private certificate that proves that the program was completed. The bootcamps are not recognized by the traditional standards of the Education administration. Due to its intensive and hands-on format, it wouldn't be possible to adapt the content and schedules to the official requirements. However, for some campuses you can get public financing to study with us.

What are the requisites to access the bootcamp?

There are no knowledge requirements for our bootcamps. As long as you have sufficient proficiency in English, basic logical skills, enough time, and most importantly motivation, you're fit for a bootcamp. Each bootcamp has students from different backgrounds so if you're starting from scratch with your tech knowledge, you're not alone. The Prework ensures that everyone has the same solid foundation to succeed in the bootcamp.
